The country’s premier power producer takes on the responsibility for fruitful impact in the cause of SC/ST/Physically challenged persons. As a responsible and socially conscious enterprise, NTPC is offering 35 scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST/PC categories pursuing 4 years full time degree course in engineering.

Eligibility:

35 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SCHEDULED CASTE/ SCHEDULED TRIBE/ PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED ENGINEERING STUDENTS (SCHEME XXIII)

NTPC Limited, Maharatna and India’s number 1 power generation company, invites applications for grant of 35 Scholarships under ‘NTPC Scholarship Scheme’ for meritorious Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe/ Physically Challenged students, who are pursuing 4 years full time Engg. degree course in any one of the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electronics/ Telecommunications from an institute recognized by the Govt. of India and have successfully passed their first year examinations in first attempt in 2012 completed 2nd year 2013 & pursuing 3rd year full time Engineering degree course in the session 2013-14.

Scholarship:

The scholarship is admissible from the second year of study till the final year subject to the condition that the student meets the minimum qualifying criterion for success in each year. The amount of scholarship is Rs.1500/- P.M. Total 35 scholarships will be granted (20 SC, 10 ST and 05 PC).

How to apply:

Students fulfilling the eligibility condition may submit their applications in the prescribed format printed alongside duly completed in all respects along with supporting documents through the Head of the Institution. While forwarding the application, the institute shall certify to the effect that information furnished by the candidate is correct and the institute is recognized by the Government of India.

New Delhi – 110 003 so as to reach us latest by 31.07.2013.

Applications not in the prescribed format/ received after the closing date or not forwarded through the Head of the Institution are liable to be rejected.
